Globes: Shekel strengthens

15 October 12 11:09–The shekel is strengthened against the dollar and euro in morning inter-bank trading today. The shekel-dollar exchange rate is down 0.32%, compared with Friday’s representative rate, to NIS 3.828/$, and the shekel-euro exchange rate is down 0.38% to NIS 4.962/€.

On Friday, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.84/$, down 0.31% on Thursday’s rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.981/€, up 0.03%.

In international markets today, the dollar is stronger against leading currencies, rising 0.3% against the euro to $1.2907/€, rising 0.35% against the pound to $1.6025/£, and rising 0.15% against the yen to ¥78.52/$…Read More>>
