Globes: Israel Chemicals 60th among “Forbes’” most innovative cos

9 September 12 12:44-”Forbes” ranks Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE: ICL) in 60th place in its second World’s Most Innovative Companies list. It is the only Israeli company to make the list.

The list includes public companies with market caps exceeding $10 billion, which invest at least 2.5% of revenue in R&D, and have published financial reports for at least seven years. Six of the top ten most innovative companies are in the US, and one each is from China, India, Japan, and the UK.
Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE: CRM) tops the list, followed by Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXN), Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN), Red Hat Inc. (NYSE: RHT), China’s Baidu Ltd. (Nasdaq: BIDU), Intuitive Surgical Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG), Japan’s Rakuten Ltd. (TSE: 4755), Edwards Lifesciences Inc. (NYSE: EW), India’s Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (BSE: 500510), and Britain’s ARM Holdings plc (LSE: ARM; Nasdaq: ARMH). Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) is ranked 24th and Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) is 24th.
