08.27.12, 07:17 –The Motorola Mobility Research and Development Center in Israel is one of 30 Motorola centers around the world that will be shut down, Motorola representatives told Calcalist on Sunday.
The company’s restructuring move will affect 30 employees of the company’s Israeli branch, mostly salespeople, who will be let go.
Google, which has acquired Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, announced last week that it will cut approximately 4,000 jobs worldwide – 20% of the company’s employees.
