Aug.14, 2012 | 4:59 AM–”Israel suffers from overregulation in every sector of the economy,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last night, at the start of a meeting with the heads of the Liaison Bureau of Economic Organizations. “We have reached a situation where one regulator is battling another,” Netanyahu said, adding, “Regulation must not control the economy.” Netanyahu emphasized the importance of cooperation between business and government, and called on meeting participants to consult with the government.
