August 8, 2012 at 12:00–The inventor of VOIP, magicJack VocalTec Ltd (CALL, quote) has continued to outperform larger telephone companies such as Verizon Communications (VZ, quote). Year to date, VocalTec is up by 61.05%. Verizon by contrast, has risen only 15.06%.

VocalTec recently released a bullish revision to its earnings estimates to 48 to 52 cents per share on revenues of $37.5 to $38.5 million for the second quarter.
